Social Media Policy
The Village of Edgerton has an outlined Policy in regards to responding to Social Media posts.
The Village Office can post and help answer specific questions in regards to operations and ongoings in the Village, and genuine questions asked to The Village of Edgerton, Alberta Facebook page and it's posts. However, some comments will be left for a member of Council to answer, if Council sees fit to respond. Normally that response will come from the Mayor. Negative, rude or defaming comments will be removed, by the Village Staff if necessary.
The Village Office holds the right to not respond to anything posted on Facebook, or other Social Medias.
